Catering FAQ'S

Bookings, Deposits, and Billing

Events are considered officially booked once a signed contract and required deposit are received. A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the estimated total is due at the time of booking to secure the event. The remaining balance is due on a schedule prior to the event Date. All menu selections must be finalized no later than 14 calendar days prior to the event. A credit card is due upon signing to be held on file. All charges will be based upon the guaranteed Guest count provided by the client. Acceptable forms of payment include credit card (3.5% convenience fee will be charged) and check.

 

Minimums

MINIMUMS on Orders is the total cost of any food or beverages before any tax, labor fee or gratuity has been added. Rentals are not included in this total.

 

  • Full-Service On-Site- based on room

  • full-service off-premise- $1,500

  • Delivery within 15 miles- $750

 

Delivery fees

Delivery fees are based upon mileage and time of the delivery/pick up. This fee covers gas, insurance and maintenance of the delivery vehicles. This fee does not got back to staff.

 

Service Fees

A 22% service fee will be applied to all full service events. This fee covers staffing and labor for your event. Please note, This is not a gratuity and does not go back to staff. An administration fee of $50 is applied to all events.

 

Gratuity

Gratuutity For bookings that are client pick ups, drop off only and delivery with pick up, gratuity is fully at the client's discretion and not automatically applied. For full service events (stay & maintains) an 10% gratuity will be automatically applied. Gratuity is split between the caterers and kitchen staff. If the client would like to add a gratuity, or additional gratuity, please tell your coordinator.

Menu

Our menus are thoughtfully designed to offer fresh, flavorful options and can be customized to meet the unique needs of your event. We strive to accommodate dietary preferences whenever possible, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. We are always happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions your guests may have; however, we are not a nut, gluten, dairy, soy or shellfish free facility and cannot gauranteе there will not be cross-contamination. When available, we proudly incorporate produce grown through our district-wide gardening initiative, the Rocks Produce Project. The gardens allow us to feature seasonal, locally grown ingredients while supporting hands-on student learning

Catering Services 

Foodies Rock Catering & Events offers a variety of catering services to meet the needs of events large and small. We provide on-site catering at Shamrock Station, based on availability, as well as full-service off-premise buffets throughout the Indianapolis metro area. Additional options include catering to-go, drop-and-go delivery for meetings and events, and hands-on cooking classes and culinary experiences for groups of all ages.

Facilities & Service Area

Foodies Rock provides catering services throughout the greater Indianapolis area and can travel up to 75 miles from our home base. Full menu availability and service options may vary based on event location, staffing, and logistical considerations and are subject to the discretion of our culinary and coordination team. Please consult with your event coordinator for venue-specific details and availability.full menu availability is subject to chef and coordinators' discretions.

Service

Standard buffet service time is one hour. Extended time can be upgraded based on menu
