

Intern with Foodies rock
High school students in their junior and senior years have the opportunity to intern with the Foodies Rock catering program after completing the required culinary courses, including the ServSafe Manager class. This internship provides hands-on experience in all aspects of catering, including food preparation, ordering, inventory management, deliveries, and additional event-based opportunities. Offered throughout the entire school year during periods 3–5, the program allows students to build real-world skills in a fast-paced, professional environment while preparing them for future careers in the hospitality industry.
Intern at shamrock station
High school juniors and seniors interested in hospitality, tourism, and event management have the opportunity to intern at Shamrock Station through the Foodies Rock program. Students must have completed the required culinary courses, including the ServSafe Manager certification. Offered throughout the school year during periods 1–5, this internship provides hands-on experience in event planning, setup, catering coordination, and client meetings. Students gain an in-depth, real-world understanding of what it takes to successfully operate a catering company and event center.

How to intern
Students interested in interning with our program must be current students at Westfield High School, be an upperclassman (junior or senior), and have space in their school-day schedule to participate.
